The residence option provides a complete university experience. Students live in residence, attend daytime classes, eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a campus dining hall, and participate in extracurricular activities on the Queen’s campus and around the Kingston community.

For students working towards the Duke of Edinburgh International Award Gold Medal, the residence-option satisfies the Gold Project requirement. To receive a Duke of Edinburgh award, students must complete personal goals in 4 to 5 different categories.
