After School Care

Stratford Hall offers after school care for students in Kindergarten to Grade 7 every day from school dismissal time, until 5:30pm. 
 
Our program is designed to be engaging, supportive, and responsive to student interests. Activities encourage connection, creativity, and collaboration, all under the guidance of caring staff. Held on campus, After School Care provides students with access to a wide range of school resources and materials in a safe and familiar environment.

Cost

  • $17 per day for students who are registered in advance for each booking period.
  • Drop-in rates are $22 per day.

  • Kindergarten - Grade 2

    Focused on play-based learning and socializing.

    The daily routine for this age group includes:
    • Circle time - This self-direction learning tool provides students the opportunity to discuss and identify what activities they wish to undertake
    • Guided craft and art activities
    • Outdoor and physical play activities on the PYP rooftop or in the gym
    • Unstructured group playtime

  • Grade 3 - 7

    An increased emphasis on homework completion, as well as the opportunity for play-based learning and socializing.

    The daily routine for this age group includes:
    • Quiet homework/reading time (20 minutes) with support staff guidance and assistance
    • Outdoor and physical play activities on the PYP rooftop or in the gymnasium
    • Unstructured group playtime
