Smita Karam

With a passion for inquiry and concept-based learning, Smita brings over 20 years of experience as an educator to our community.  She has spent her career at various ISABC schools in the Lower Mainland.  In addition to being a classroom teacher, she has held various roles such as Head of Library and Learning, Humanities Coordinator, PYP Coordinator and Vice Principal. Smita also works with the International Baccalaureate Education Network conducting school visit checks and sharing her knowledge as a workshop leader. A born and bred Vancouverite, Smita enjoys spending her spare time with friends and family in her local community.
