Application & Enrollment Process

At our inclusive and welcoming International Baccalaureate world school, we are enabling the next generation of thinkers, creators, leaders, and doers. Our faculty and staff ensure a warm and nurturing environment where students are challenged and inspired to be the best versions of themselves. We pride ourselves on being more than a traditional IB School.

Application Process

List of 3 items.

  • Step 1: Apply

    1. Complete and submit an application form
A $300 one-time, non-refundable application fee is required (paid online with a credit card). Once you have access to your online applicant checklist, please book your parent interview.

    2. Document Submission
Please log in to your account to access your checklist and upload all required supplementary materials. This includes:

The SSAT and Character Skills Snapshot is a standardized test used by admission offices to assess the abilities of students seeking to enroll in an independent school. All students wishing to be considered for Grade 6 to Grade 11 must write the SSAT. Consideration for exemption will be given to students currently enrolled in an IB programme.

Click here to be directed to the SSAT website to schedule this assessment.

    3. Schedule a Parent Interview
For parents applying for Kindergarten, Grade 1, or Grades 6 to 11, a Parent Interview must be completed within 14 days of submitting the application.

If you are applying for Grades 2 to 5, we'll contact you to arrange an interview when space becomes available.

Please note that these interviews are for parents only—there is no need to bring your child.

If you are reapplying or are already part of our school community, the parent interview requirement may be waived.
  • Step 2: Assessment

At Stratford Hall, we seek active learners who can engage with the IB curriculum, embrace civic responsibilities, and become global citizens. We assess students using various methods to evaluate their academic abilities and social skills. Our teachers observe group work, social interactions, and individual written and oral activities.

    Kindergarten & Grade 1
Please check your application checklist and follow the assessment instructions. We’re excited to build a class with diverse personalities and skill levels. If you’re shortlisted, we’ll invite you for an in-person assessment with our teachers.

    Grades 2 to 5
Students will be invited for an assessment as space becomes available. This evaluation may include a group assessment and/or a one-on-one conversation with a teacher.

    Grades 6 to 11
The evaluation is based on the SSAT and Character Skills Snapshot results, the student statement, a group assessment, and an individual interview with a teacher. Click here to be directed to the SSAT website to schedule this assessment.
  • Step 3: Enrollment

Successful candidates will either receive a letter of acceptance and a registration package or be placed in a wait pool.

New Student Registration fees must be paid upon acceptance of an offer in order to hold space for the accepted grade. Registration must be completed by the deadline determined by the School.

All relevant documents and payments for the enrollment of registered students will be collected during the Welcome Meeting.
Applications for the 2025-2026 school year are now closed. If you're still interested in joining our vibrant and inclusive community, please contact our Admissions team today.

We look forward to welcoming new students and supporting their incredible journey with us!
