Sabres Summer

Sabres Summer is Stratford Hall’s well-loved summer program for students entering Grade 1 through Grade 7. Running for five weeks starting June 22, the program offers a variety of engaging, theme-based activities led by Stratford Hall staff.

Each week is designed to help children build new skills, make meaningful connections, grow in confidence—and, of course, have fun during the summer break.

Cost

$425 per week
$340 for Week 2

Camp registration closes Tuesday, June 2.

Volunteers Needed

We are looking for energetic volunteers to join us for Sabres Summer! If you want to gain valuable work experience while hanging out in the sun, playing games, leading arts and crafts, and heading out on exciting field trips with our Junior School students, this is the place for you!

  • Week 1: Wizarding World

    June 22 - 26
    Step into a realm of magic, mischief, and illumination as campers are transported to a spellbinding world of wonder. Campers will participate in a variety of mystical activities inspired by the many wizarding universes we all know and love..
  • Week 2: Wild Wild West: Yeehaw!!!

    June 29 - July 3 (No camp on Canada Day)
    Saddle up for a rootin’-tootin’ week in the Wild West! This lively week captures the adventurous spirit of the old west, where teamwork, resilience, and a sense of adventure guide the journey. Campers will be channeling their inner prospectors!
  • Week 3: Mystery Machine

    July 6 - 10
    Zoinks! A mystery is afoot at camp. Join the gang for a week of clue-solving, scavenger hunts, and antics inspired by Scooby-Doo!. Campers will dive into puzzling adventures, follow curious clues, and work together to crack the case in a week full of laughter, surprises, and mystery.
  • Week 4: Camp Film Fest

    July 13 - 17
    Calling all actors, directors, and behind-the-scenes creators! This cinematic-themed week, campers will step into the imaginative world of storytelling, filmmaking and performance. After a week of production, we will have our very own film festival and red carpet experience.
  • Week 5: Summer of Epic Creations

    July 20 - 24
    Inspired by the inventive fun of Phineas and Ferb, this
    week is all about big ideas and even bigger fun! Campers
    will tackle wacky engineering challenges, create
    over-the-top inventions, and dream up their own summer
    adventures.

  • What should my child bring?

    Participants are required to bring the following: water bottle, nut-free food (for snacks and lunch), medication (e.g. inhaler, EpiPen), sunscreen, change of clothes, towel and/or bathing suits.
  • What are the hours of operation during summer camp?

    Sabres Summer will run from 8:30am until 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (except for July 1, closed for Canada Day).
  • Will there be half-day or daily registration options?

    No, all registrations are for a full week of camp. No registration options are available for individual days.
  • Will there be before or after-care?

    No, students may enter the building at 8:30am and must be collected by 3:30pm daily. Please call Stratford Hall (604 436 0608) to let staff know you will be late, or are making arrangements for an alternate adult to pick up your child, a late fee may apply for all late pick-ups after multiple offenses.
  • Will uniforms be required?

    No, children are not required to wear a Stratford Hall uniform. However, please bring weather appropriate clothing.
  • Will there be waitlists?

    Yes, we will maintain waitlists. You will be notified if a space becomes available.
  • Is a consent form required to be completed prior to Sabres Summer starting?

    Yes, after registration closes each family will be sent a form to complete with information about their child and informed consent forms will be sent to families before relevant field trips. If you have any questions regarding this, please email sabres.summer@stratfordhall.ca.
  • What is the Cancellation and Refund Policy?

    Stratford Hall will offer full credit to each family's SchoolsBuddy account if cancellation of camp is made no later than Friday, May 22.

    Non-Stratford Hall families will be eligible to receive refunds with a $50 administration fee, if canceled before Friday, May 22.

    Notice of cancellation must be given in writing (email) to sabres.summer@stratfordhall.ca.

    If a cancellation is made after May 22 there will be NO REFUND OR CREDIT ISSUED. No refunds or discounts will be issued for missed days.
