• How can we apply for financial assistance?

  All families must apply for financial assistance through Apple Financial Services. Apple Financial Services provides an arm's length evaluation of applicants' ability to fund their independent school education. It is the family’s responsibility to ensure that the application is complete by the stated deadlines.

  1. To apply for financial assistance, visit the Apple Financial Services website and click on 'To Apply'.
  2. Complete the application form and pay the $130 application fee. This fee is non-refundable.
  3. Upload all required documents as noted below. 
  4. Once your application is received, it will be reviewed, and you will be contacted if there are additional documents or information that is required to process your application
  5. Once the application has passed the review process, the analysis will be completed within 2-3 weeks, and will be sent to Stratford Hall. At any time, you may check the status of your application from the homepage by selecting "Check Status". Please note that the 2-3 weeks for the analysis begins once we have received all required documents & information.

• Required Documents

  In order to complete the application process, you will be required to submit some supporting documents for the information that is entered on the application. These documents will also likely be helpful to you as you are filling out the application itself.
  
  

  Below is not a comprehensive list, but is a good starting point of the documents that you will want to have.

  • Most Recent Notices of Assessment or Tax Returns
  • Most Recent T4's or T2125 Statement of Business Activities, if self-employed
  • Most Recent Pay Statements for the current year
  • Annual Mortgage Documents

  Register for an online CRA My Account if you do not already have one set up. While not required for an AFS application, this can help greatly in the gathering of documents that may have been misplaced, and the registration process can take several weeks.

• Financial Assistance Decisions

  • The admissions and the financial assistance applications are processed independently of each other.
  • All candidates for admission must apply and be accepted to Stratford Hall before financial assistance can be offered.
  • Financial assistance can only be finalized after enrollment is accepted and financial assistance is offered. 
  • Applicants will be notified if they qualify for financial assistance by the Finance department in early 2026.

  While financial assistance is available to qualifying families, we expect that everyone attending our School shares in the financial responsibility of the cost of a Stratford Hall education.

  
  Priority is given to families completing the process within the stated deadlines. It is important to note that a delay in completing the financial aid application will affect a family's consideration for assistance.
